Member Alert - Scheduled Maintenance
September 20, 2023 – Our system provider has notified WFCU Credit Union that they will be conducting scheduled maintenance resulting in intermittent downtime, beginning on Wednesday, September 20, from 10:15 PM through 11:30 PM, as part of their ongoing efforts to continually improve the services they provide.

The scheduled maintenance will cause temporary service interruptions to our ATM and POS banking.

During this time, online and mobile banking will remain available.

New Transaction Handling Procedures
September 14, 2023 – Beginning on October 3, 2023, WFCU is implementing enhanced procedures related to the handling of cash and cheque transactions, in support of the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) regulatory requirements. These procedures support the government’s efforts to strengthen financial transaction reporting in defence of money laundering and terrorist financing activities, while contributing to improved security for WFCU members. Chatham Branch Grand Opening & Community Investment Announcement
September 12, 2023 – WFCU announced several community investment initiatives today at the Grand Opening celebration of its fourteenth retail branch location at 814 St. Clair Street in Chatham. As part of these community commitments, WFCU is donating $50,000 to the Scottish Borderers Foundation’s ‘Service, Sacrifice and Duty’ capital fundraising campaign. Read more here.

One-Time-Passcode Text Message Scams Are On the Rise
August 17, 2023 – Across a number of financial institutions, we have been made aware of bad actors attempting to acquire members' banking information through a text message scam. Members of the public have received a text message that contains unrequested One-Time-Passcode information. Read more here.
