2002 Received Achievement in Marketing Excellence (AIME) Award from Canada's Marketing Association for Credit Unions (MACU) for WFCU Image Campaign.2003 Received AIME Award for Loan Campaign and the Innovation (NOVA) Award from Credit Union Central of Ontario (CUCO) for WFCU Image Campaign.
2003 Awarded the AIME Award 2003 Achievement in Marketing Excellence from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions for our Member Alliance Campaign “Something to Get Excited About!”
2004 Awarded the Credit Union Innovation Award for Marketing (for MemberCare Print Ad) from Credit Union Central of Ontario for the second consecutive year
2005 Awarded the Credit Union Innovation Award for Marketing (relaunch of new WFCU website) from Credit Union Central of Ontario for the third consecutive year.

- Launch of The Business 1 Free Chequing Account highlighting unique free * chequing accounts tailored to business owners
- WFCU’s Incredible Mortgage Offer’ launched in 2010 offering an ‘incredible rate’ and a chance to win up to $25,000 off a new mortgage
- Co-Sponsorship of Mr. Instant Teller, the popular radio contest where listeners of CKLW AM800 have the opportunity to win their share of $25,000 cash
2015 Received 2015 Outstanding Corporate Achievement Award. Received from: Ontario Credit Union Charitable Foundation (OCUCF). WFCU clearly demonstrates their commitment to assist and support organizations and individuals that contribute to the well-being of the Windsor-Essex community, with an emphasis on youth, education, arts and health. Over the past five years the WFCU Community Investment program has invested over $5 million back into the community. The Community Investment Program consists of Youth Sponsorships, Initiatives, Charitable Donations, Scholarships, Goods-In-Kind, Volunteerism, Community Rooms, The Community1 Free Chequing Account, The Community Donations Fund and a Multi-Year Giving Program
