Spring Mortgage Special Official Terms and Conditions

The cashback offer is only available for applications received between March 15 and May 31, 2024 on a 5-year, fixed conventional mortgage. The core special mortgage rate is only available to new WFCU mortgage holders for applications received between March 15 and May 31, 2024. All mortgage applications are subject to additional restrictions and conditions, credit approval, and must be funded within 120 days of the application date. This offer may be changed or withdrawn at any time, without notice, and cannot be combined with any other offers.

  • The mortgage offer is only available to mortgage loans for new purchase, mortgage loans for renewals or mortgage loans that are transferred to WFCU from another financial institution.
  • The mortgage offer is available to mortgage applications submitted between March 15, 2024 and May 31, 2024.
  • The mortgage loan must be funded within 120 days of the application date.
  • The mortgage loan must have a principal amount of $100,000 or more.
  • The cash back offer is only available on a 5-year fixed conventional mortgage rate. It is not available on any other mortgage term or rate.
  • The cash back offer is not available on the core mortgage special rate.
  • The core mortgage special rate and cash back is not available to mortgage brokers.
  • The core mortgage special rate is not available to existing WFCU mortgage holders.

  • For renewal mortgages and refinancing of existing WFCU mortgage holders, eligible members will receive a cashback of $600.
  • There is a limit of 1 cashback per mortgage loan.
  • If the member does not maintain their mortgage loan for the duration of the term, they will be required to return a pro-rated portion of the cashback received, depending on the term remaining.
  • The cashback amount will be deposited into a WFCU account 6-8 weeks after funding.
  • The mortgage special rate and cashback offer are not available in combination with any other mortgage offers.  Other conditions and restrictions apply. Offer subject to credit approval and may be changed or withdrawn at any time, without notice.
Other Mortgage Specials
  • The promotional rate of 6.99% per annum is for a closed, fixed, one-year term mortgage.
  • The promotional rate of 6.39% per annum is for a closed, fixed, two-year term mortgage.
  • The promotional rate of 5.99% per annum is for a closed, fixed, three-year term mortgage.
  • These promotional mortgage rates are only available to members of an owner-occupied property. Other rates and terms are available. Rates are subject to change at any time.

Eligible deposits in registered accounts have unlimited coverage through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).  Eligible deposits (not in registered accounts) are insured up to $250,000 through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).
