The Marketing Content Writer will provide support in a variety of marketing disciplines for our employees in Windsor Essex and Kitchener Waterloo.

In summary, the Marketing Content Writer will:

• Produce multi-purpose content for all marketing channels
• Manage the creation of unique promotional material to support our products and services for member and non-member campaigns
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote our brand and products
• Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously

As the successful candidate, you’ll have responsibility for:

• Brainstorming, developing and writing content for a wide variety of deliverables including annual reports, corporate presentations, planning documents and webpages
• Producing advertisement campaigns for member and non-member promotions
• Coordinating media testimonials, including but not limited to radio and press releases
• Participating and representing the Marketing department on various project teams within the credit union and with external vendors
• Staying up to date with the latest technology, industry trends and industry best practices

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:

• A degree or diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing or a related field
• 2-4 years of related experience
• A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expert knowledge of digital media and social media technology
• Expert computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac platforms, Adobe Creative Applications

These additional skills are considered assets too:

• Experience working in the financial services industry
