Windsor Family Credit Union (WFCU) Chair Elected to
Credit Union Central of Ontario Board of Directors

TORONTO , ON (Saturday, March 31, 2007) - At Credit Union Central of Ontario's (Central's) Annual General Meeting (AGM), member credit unions elected Marty Gillis, Chair, WFCU Board of Directors to the Central Board of Directors. As a WFCU Board member for over 30 years, and WFCU Chair since 1991, Marty has been instrumental in growing WFCU assets from $40 million in 1986 to over $600 million today. As a newly elected Board member to Central's Board of Directors, Marty will be actively involved in the issuing of policies and the monitoring of credit union policies as well as ensuring that Central maintains its commitment to its mission and vision for Central and the credit union system.

Marty Gillis expressed, ?We are entering into a time of very interesting challenges and opportunities with Central's greatest being the merger with B.C. Central.
