PRESENTATION OF WFCU HAROLD HEWITT SCHOLARSHIPS FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2007

During Education Week, youth enrolled in JK to Grade 12 were invited to answer the question, ?What can you, your family and your school do to make the community a better place to live?' The call for submissions is now closed and the recipients of the scholarships have been selected and will be contacted during the week of May 14, 2007.

On Friday, May 25th at 4:00 pm, Windsor Family Credit Union (WFCU) is pleased to host a special presentation awarding sixteen local youth with a WFCU's 2007 Harold Hewitt Scholarship (HHS). The event will take place at WFCU's new Corporate Head Office at 3000 Marentette Avenue.

2007 HHS recipients from each of the following grade categories will receive:

JK - Grade 2                   3 @ $100 each
Grade 3 - Grade 5         3 @ $200 each
Grade 6 - Grade 8          3 @ $300 each
Grade 9 - Grade 10        3 @ $400 each
Grade 11 ? Grade 12     4 @ $500 each

Established by WFCU in 2001, The HHS is an annual contribution to post secondary education for youth in our community. This special scholarship was inspired by the late Harold Hewitt, WFCU's long term Director on their Board whose dedication to the community was an integral part of the Credit Union.

All family, extended family, friends, teachers and principals that are associated with the winners are welcome to attend this ceremony.
