Mastercard® Global Payment card
With our innovative MasterCard® Global Payment card, available
only to credit union members, members can pay for goods or services
at retail shops and have the funds paid directly from their credit
union chequing account. Global Payment works like a cheque but
it's faster and easier because it lets you access your account
without actually writing a cheque or taking the time to get a
cheque approved. A MasterCard® transaction fee applies.

Beginning March 2, 2009, all new and/or renewal MasterCard credit
cards or MasterCard Choice Rewards credit cards will be outfitted
with chip technology.
As chip cards are virtually impossible to copy, cardholders benefit
from extra security and protection from counterfeit, identity
theft and fraudulent activity.
The biggest change you'll see when using your new MasterCard
chip card or MasterCard Choice Rewards chip card is that you will
no longer be required to sign your receipt when making purchases
at retailers that currently use chip technology. You'll simply
be required to input a unique 4-digit Personal Identification
Number (PIN), just as you would when making a
debit card purchase.
If you shop at a retailer that does not have a chip-reading terminal,
you will be asked to sign as usual.
Your New PIN.
If your MasterCard credit card or MasterCard Choice Rewards
credit card is renewing after March 1, 2009 or if you are receiving
a brand new MasterCard credit card or MasterCard Choice Rewards
credit card, your PIN and new card will be mailed to your home
in separate envelopes, with your PIN arriving three (3) days prior
to your new card. If you would like to change your PIN once
you receive your new card, visit any WFCU retail location.
Protecting Your PIN.
To protect yourself against unauthorized access to your
account, keep your PIN safe.
Your PIN is unique to you and it must be kept confidential. Remember,
never disclose your PIN to anyone or carry it with you. You will
never be asked for your PIN when making a mail
order or internet transaction. On-line merchants may request the
3-digit security number on the signature panel on the reverse of
your card, sometimes referred to as the card validation code (CVC).
Never disclose your PIN over the phone, internet or when making
a mail order transaction.

View
all of your Credit Union MasterCard® Credit Card Account Information,
including your last transaction, account information, history
and payment information. Please have your Credit Union MasterCard®
Credit Card handy when you log on.
